RiverCulture and the Shea Theater Arts Center are PSYCHED to present “Shea Away” a free night of music by local legends Home Body and Frank Hurricane. Peskeompskut Park, Avenue A and 7th Street. Curated by Haley Morgan. Graphics by Audrey Helen Weber. Rain date 7/17.
HOME BODY
Synthesist Eric Hnatow and vocalist Haley Morgan make music as Home Body, harnessing light, sound, and movement to present a throbbing synth spectacle oozing with raw energy and emotional grit. For the past decade these Western Mass sweethearts have been enchanting music fans of all ages with their infectious spirit and danceable electro-pop. The duo’s sophomore LP ‘Spiritus’ (Feeding Tube Records/Peace & Rhythm) has been heralded as “gorgeous art-pop that's able to address big realities” (Bandcamp New & Notable) and their music has been featured in fashion shows, modern dance performances, and in sweaty clubs all across North America.
FRANK HURRICANE
Frank Hurricane is a spiritual blues and folk musician/storyteller from the South and the North of the holy US. He has been traveling and performing, gathering tales and rolling for close to a decade, touring across the world and putting out records on Feeding Tube, Ultra Excema, Mystra, Scissor Tail, and other off the chain labels. He has performed with many legends across the spiritual board and has hiked thousands of miles of holy trails in the mountains.
