Great Falls Creative Movement is excited to host: Shake It Up! a Showcase of Youth Dancing in Turners Falls. Come support kids from Turners Falls and beyond as they share the dances they love. This inspiring showcase will feature a eclectic array of high energy performances by:
Turners Falls-based dance groups:
Awesome Art in Motion, Great Falls Creative Movement’s own children’s dance company. This group of 7 – 10 year-olds will be presenting original choreography inspired by the changing seasons.
The Salt Shakers, a new dance troop from The Brick House with a natural sense of flow and style. The Salt Shakers will be sharing their Caribbean roots and flavor.
Folklorico Latin Spirit, a children’s dance troupe presenting folkloric and contemporary Mexican and Mexican-American dances and choreography.
And, joining us from Northampton:
Hatchery: a pre-professional contemporary dance company for 13 – 19 year-olds run by the School for Contemporary Dance and Thought.
