Shea Presents Presents: Fort Vine for Quarantunes

In the wake of Covid-19 show cancellations, your favorite venues and arts hubs in the 413 have come together to create an online concert series because now the show must go on…line.

** Please consider supporting the artists by donating a tip on Venmo to program coordinator @emmaayres or PayPal to sheatheaterartscenter@gmail.com. Funds will be dispersed to performer with a minute portion of proceeds going to the Shea Theater Arts Center.

Fort Vine is an indie-folk band named after a secret tree fort in Manhattan, built by songwriting duo, Trevor Tunison and Nyna Nelson. Their feel-good music embraces every audience with open arms as their strong harmonies resonate with meaningful poetry and happy grooves.

Fort Vine has been named one of NYC's best unsigned bands by the New York Observer. Their music is featured in the film, Origins: Transworld Snowboarding and Apple's Solar Eclipse campaign. They successfully crowd-funded the vinyl pressing of their first two records via Feedbands.com and Qrates.com. Recently their music was featured in the trailer of Facebook's new web-series, Five Points.

Fort Vine is currently touring the USA in support of their third release, Rise & Shine. They are living full-time in their beloved diy-converted sprinter van, Gypsee Bungalow, as they travel around the country.

Exciting News for A Happening V: The Bestiary

Cloudgaze and Eggtooth Productions are thrilled to announce that we have received generous grants from the Mass Cultural Council as well as the Community Foundation of Western MA to support our 2025 Immersive Arts Festival, “A Happening V: The Bestiary.”

This festival will transform the Shea Theater into an exploration of theme, hosting installations, music, theatrical performances, and movement pieces, featuring the collective contributions of over 50 local artists. Audiences will experience otherworldly environments and narratives inspired by Aesop's Fables, George Orwell's Animal Farm, newly imagined cautionary tales, and creature myths of all origins.

Thanks to the Mass Cultural Council for their vital support this year. We'd also like to thank the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts for their support in the form of a Flexible Funding grant. We couldn't do this work without you!
