The Well Tempered Ukes are Robin Hoffman, Marlene Wong, and Richard Perlmutter, a Western Massachusetts acoustic ukulele trio. Not your usual oldies band, they pluck, strum, harmonize and cover their way through Renaissance, parlor, pop, and art songs -- the great song hits of the last 500 years.
The group has recently returned from performing concerts throughout New England and at The Jalopy Theatre in New York City. This summer they will be featured artists at the Boston Ukulele Melee and The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Festival. They also hold a residency at The Forbes Library in Northampton.
How fantastic to have had the Well Tempered Ukes at Jalopy! Please check them out when they come to your area! -- Lynette Wiley, Proprietor, Jalopy Theatre, Brooklyn, NY
Richard, Marlene and Robin are outstanding and versatile musicians with a friendly vibe and unique repertoire. Their original arrangements include sophisticated fusions of antique and popular music, with charm and humor. -- Faith Kaufmann, Head of Arts & Music, Forbes Library
