Amherst Ballet presents Moving (p)Arts, a collection of works by both the Lower and Upper School students. The Lower School will be performing a short-form Ballet called The Girl Who Escaped, which is a Native American folktale from the Mohegan Tribe, and tells of the adventures of a young woman in southeast Connecticut. The advanced Modern students will be performing in a new work, Fellow Mortal, which examines strained social relations in the present-day United States. This Spring's production will also feature classical variations from Corsaire, as well as two new ballet and contemporary style works by Amherst Ballet faculty.
