ABOUT THE BEST OF THE 70s

The Best of the 70s returns to the Shea after a SOLD-OUT show in August'23 and March'24! It is a celebration of the greatest music of all time.

The show features the timeless songs of Neil Young, The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, America, John Denver, Eagles, Don McLean, CSN, Bob Seger, Elton John, Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Willie Nelson, David Bowie, The Band, Kenny Rogers, Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Buffett, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead & More!!

Joining them on stage is special guest The Uptown Horns. This legendary New York City based horn section has performed with Bruce Springsteen, Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, and countless others. They’ve toured with the Rolling Stones and played on #1 hit records like (James Brown’s “Living in America”).

DizzyFish is led by its Lead Singer & Guitarist Eric Herbst. Eric & DizzyFish have rocked audiences sharing the stage with Steve Miller, ZZ Top, Three Dog Night, Marshall Tucker and many others. Eric as well as being a powerful live performer has written and produced original songs recorded by musical legends B.B. King and Johnny Cash.

Angela has had a 35-year career singing and performing with some of the biggest names in music such as Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, and many others. Angela is also the director of the DizzyFish Choir.

Sharon’s musical journey has taken her around the world, touring, recording, and performing with such artists as Billy Preston, Whitney Houston, Roberta Flack, Bette Midler, and many others. Sharon has also appeared several times on Saturday Night Live.

ABOUT THE SHEA THEATER

The Shea provides performance space for a variety of attractions designed to appeal to the widest range of tastes. Musical offerings include folk, pop, rock, swing, jazz, country and traditional. Theatrical productions encompass musical comedy, drama, comedy, and political satire. In addition, audiences can take advantage of magic shows, children's shows and silent film revivals.

The Shea, with the help of a wonderful corps of volunteers, has been attracting a growing audience and as a result is bringing people into Turners Falls from an ever larger geographical area. This growth has put the Shea on a path to an even more exciting future for this vital community asset.
