The Back Porch Songwriter Series continues with our first ever show at the Shea Theater on Sunday, October 13th featuring the songs of the legendary Lucinda Williams. Williams had her breakthrough in 1998 with the classic album Car Wheels On A Gravel Road, which won a best album Grammy award. Her songs have been recorded by Tom Petty, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Emmylou Harris, Miranda Lambert and many others.
This is the 9th show in the Back Porch Songwriter series, which has previously paid tribute to Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, John Prine and others. This show will feature an all-star backing band including the Deep River Ramblers. Special guests will include Mark Erelli, Evelyn Harris, Ali McGuirk, Lisa Bastoni and others to be announced.
