Passport Theatre Company brings new plays and professional theatre to both Western Massachusetts and to Finland, performing original works in both countries in English on an alternating basis. We look on Passport as a ticket to ride, to surf on the cultural differences and similarities, to explore our mutual world.Our kick-off production is the US premiere of Gogol’s “The Overcoat” modernized by Esa Leskinen and Sami Keski-Vähälä. and adapted by Nely Keinänen,Catherine Grosvenor and Adrian Goldman. It follows Akaky and his eponymous Overcoat on a wild rollercoaster ride through the last 50 years of banking crises.
