#GETTOTHESHEA on Fri. 02.27 for The Giant's Harp debut in the Shea's Lounge. Thanks to Mass Cultural Council and Greenfield Savings Bank for sponsoring our lobby series.
The Giant’s Harp is a neo-psychedelic jazz folk rock band based in Western Massachusetts. The musicians use The Giant's Harp as a vehicle of pure original creative expression through their pursuit of live performance explorations with original compositions. The band attributes it’s artistic style to their expansive musical roots collectively and individually in the classic psychedelic, jazz folk, Americana, and country rock genres. The Giant’s Harp released their first EP of original songs in Spring 2025 which has been described as drawing from some of the best elements of the Grateful Dead music, including “inventive parts, gentle psychedelia, and a sense of whimsy” (Eric Danton May 2025 Freak Scene). Current band members include Gordon Clark (Mind Left Body, Bearquarium, Barika), Parker McQueeney (Mind Left Body, Doomsday Device, Hayley Jane, Dead Man’s Waltz), Forest Loomis-Dulong, and Andy Kivela.
This performance is brought to you with support from the local cultural councils of Charlemont-Hawley, Conway, Greenfield, and Sunderland which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, Greenfield Savings Bank, and the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts.

Exciting News for A Happening V: The Bestiary
Cloudgaze and Eggtooth Productions are thrilled to announce that we have received generous grants from the Mass Cultural Council as well as the Community Foundation of Western MA to support our 2025 Immersive Arts Festival, “A Happening V: The Bestiary.”
This festival will transform the Shea Theater into an exploration of theme, hosting installations, music, theatrical performances, and movement pieces, featuring the collective contributions of over 50 local artists. Audiences will experience otherworldly environments and narratives inspired by Aesop's Fables, George Orwell's Animal Farm, newly imagined cautionary tales, and creature myths of all origins.
Thanks to the Mass Cultural Council for their vital support this year. We'd also like to thank the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts for their support in the form of a Flexible Funding grant. We couldn't do this work without you!
