We are thrilled to welcome back Silverthorne Theater as they present a FREE staged reading as part of their 'Theater Thursday' series.
Our final Theater Thursday reading of 2026!
Silverthorne Theater Company presents a staged reading of playwright Jeremy Geragotelis’s new play, The 2018 Handel Society MDP Competition. Directed by Cordelia Winter Dwyer, the reading will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls as a part of Silverthorne’s 2026 Theater Thursdays reading series, with a talkback to follow. Starring Antigone Brandel-luliano, Rachel F. Hirsch, Aaron Mancaniello, Maya Quinones, Sam Samuels, and Rhiannon Thomas.
In The 2018 Handel Society MDP Competition, prodigies Cassidy, Vanessa and James meet each other once a year at a high-stakes piano competition, where connection in this rarified environment battles the drive to crush one’s opponents at any cost. And there’s an albatross in the green room who might have something to do with Cassidy’s father...
